Generally, dark circles under the eyes are caused by inflamed blood vessels. Moreover, they can be also caused by cosmetics, allergies, nasal congestion, heredity, smoking or thin skin. You should try some natural remedies as a first option, and opt for a doctor’s opinion in case these do not work.
Soak a washcloth in cold water and place it on the affected area. Do not remove for about 10 minutes, during which you need to refresh the cloth with cold water. The cold determines the vessel to constrict and eventually disappear.
Avoid drinking alcohol and caffeine as they may determine the formation of dark circles under your eyes.
If you know you are allergic, then try to stay away from allergens such as pollen, dust, pet dander, flour or any other product or substance that causes allergies.
Protect your eyes from sun exposure by wearing sunglasses or avoiding to stay in the sun without protection.
Tip: During the treatment, you can cover the dark circles under your eyes with concealers.
